Agreement to Terms
By contacting Blue Back Landscaping LLC, requesting a quote, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
These terms apply to all landscaping, property maintenance, snow management, and related services provided by Blue Back Landscaping LLC ("we," "us," "our") to clients ("you," "your") in West Hartford, CT and surrounding areas.
Services
We provide professional landscaping and property maintenance services including, but not limited to, seasonal maintenance, snow management, shrub maintenance, drainage solutions, grading and hardscaping, and seasonal decorating. Specific services, scope of work, and pricing are outlined in individual service agreements or quotes provided to you prior to commencement of work.
We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual or property at our sole discretion.
Quotes and Pricing
All quotes provided are estimates based on information available at the time of assessment. Final pricing may vary if site conditions differ from what was represented, additional work is required due to unforeseen circumstances, or the scope of work changes at your request. We will communicate any pricing changes before performing additional work whenever possible.
Scheduling and Access
You agree to provide reasonable access to your property on scheduled service days. If access is denied or conditions prevent us from safely performing the work (including locked gates, aggressive animals, or unsafe conditions), we reserve the right to reschedule or charge for the scheduled visit.
Service schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions, equipment issues, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any significant scheduling changes.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. For recurring service contracts, invoices are issued according to the agreed billing cycle. Overdue accounts may be subject to a late fee and suspension of services. We accept payment by check, cash, or electronic transfer as arranged with your service representative.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule a one-time service appointment by contacting us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee. For recurring contracts, notice periods and cancellation terms are specified in your individual service agreement.
Property Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Disclosing the location of underground utilities, irrigation lines, and any other buried infrastructure before work begins.
- Securing or removing personal property (furniture, decorations, toys, vehicles) from work areas prior to scheduled service.
- Ensuring pets are secured during service visits.
- Identifying any plants, features, or areas that should not be disturbed.
Blue Back Landscaping LLC is not liable for damage to undisclosed underground utilities, unmarked irrigation systems, or personal property left in work areas.
Limitation of Liability
Blue Back Landscaping LLC carries appropriate general liability insurance. In the event of damage caused by our negligence, our liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the damaged property up to the limits of our insurance policy. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including lost income or business interruption.
We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, normal wear and tear, or outcomes resulting from weather events, disease, or conditions beyond our control.
Warranty
We take pride in our work and will address any concerns about service quality reported to us within 5 business days of service completion. We do not offer warranties on plant material, as growth and survival depend on weather, soil conditions, and factors outside our control.

The content on our website is provided for informational purposes only. We make no warranties about the completeness or accuracy of the information. Use of the website is at your own risk. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the website at any time without notice.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Hartford County, Connecticut.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the most recent changes were made. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
